TP-Link Vastly Expands Smart Home Lineup With Tapo Full Home Security Solutions, Tapo Robot Vacuums and Various Matter Compatible Products
Irvine, Calif. — Jan 5, 2023 — TP-Link, the leading global provider of networking and smart home products, today unveiled its next-generation smart home security cameras, video doorbells, smart door locks, robot vacuum line, and Matter-compatible products at CES.
Tapo full home security solution with all-new indoor/outdoor cams, smart dual video doorbells, smart door locks, central home base, and more The Tapo C325WB is Tapo's next-generation outdoor security Wi-Fi camera with ultra-low light color vision. Thanks to a super aperture lens and superior sensor, the Tapo C325WB can capture images with more natural color and vivid details, even in ultra-low light conditions. Powered by a powerful algorithm chip, Tapo C325WB also comes with upgraded AI detection features. The camera meets the IP66 protection rating and performs well even in harsh environments with rain and dust.
The battery-powered 2K QHD Tapo C425 Outdoor Security Wi-Fi Camera is equipped with a built-in 10,000 mAh large-capacity battery and can be magnetically mounted anywhere. Moreover, the camera works with the Tapo A200 Solar Panel for non-stop charging via solar energy (Tapo A200 is sold separately). This complementary pairing not only keeps the camera powered all year round but also helps save energy consumption in the face of new energy challenges around the world.
The Tapo Smart Baby Camera is a pan/tilt camera that serves as a perfect baby monitor with two 2K resolution cameras that provide clear views of up to 4MP. The camera’s wide-angle lens allows parents to watch their child in a room of any size, and every precious moment can be captured using the camera’s telephoto lens. This camera supports the pan/tilt function and contains rich AI functions to achieve comprehensive, intelligent care.
The all-new Tapo Smart Video Door Lock, a CES 2023 Innovation Awards Honoree, is a three-in-one device that works as a door lock, doorbell, and outdoor security camera. Tapo's door lock supports multiple bank-grade unlocking methods such as fingerprint, face recognition, app, password, and voice assistant. Additionally, with the Tapo app, users can lock and unlock the door from anywhere, set temporary user codes, view lock activity, and receive lock notifications. Embedded with a full-color video doorbell, the Tapo Smart Video Door Lock also supports real-time video intercom, and the built-in 2K QHD super wide-angle camera helps monitor users' doorways 24/7.
The new Tapo D660 dual video doorbell also showcases TP-Link’s focus on creatively solving user challenges in real-world scenarios, providing video coverage that spans each corner of the doorway. Equipped with a downward-facing camera and algorithm chip, Tapo D660 delivers users complete surveillance of their doorways and deters porch pirates from stealing packages. Combined with a forward-facing camera, the dual-camera Tapo D660 offers users an ultra-wide FOV of over 180 degrees without blind spots.
TP-Link is making a big step forward by introducing the brand-new Homebase Tapo H900. The Tapo H900 is a home connection center that supports devices based on Wi-Fi, Sub-G, Bluetooth, Matter, Thread, and other protocols. With the Tapo H900, users can manage all Tapo smart home devices and set customizing smart scenes for seamless automation.
The Tapo H900 works as a video surveillance center as well as a video storage center, allowing users to watch live views from up to 16 cameras simultaneously. Homebase also provides electronic photo frames, alarm clocks, calendars, notes, and other entertainment functions. With additional Tapo smart sensors, the Homebase will provide users with full status and control of smart living.
TP-Link Tapo releases its all-new robot vacuum line with competitive offerings
As a CES 2023 Innovation Awards Honoree, the Tapo RV30C Slim is one of the thinnest LiDAR Navigation robot vacuums on the market thanks to a compact Mini-DTOF LiDAR sensor. At only 7.8 cm high, a full 20 percent less than most full-size solutions, the Tapo RV30 Slim can clean harder-to-reach areas with ease. Powered by MagSlim LiDAR Navigation, the RV30C Slim achieves millimeter-level measurement for more accurate perception and mapping of homes, greatly increasing cleaning coverage. An RV30C Slim Plus model will also be available, which comes with an auto-empty dustbin.
The Tapo RV70 OMNI Is the flagship robot vacuum from Tapo with an all-around Omni station and triple-AI technology. It’s equipped with the current highest level of 5200Pa suction power and a powerful dual-disc mop that spins up to 180 RPM to remove stubborn stains and kitchen grease. The Tapo RV70 OMNI supports intelligent mop lifting when the carpet is detected and the Omni station integrates auto-empty, auto mop washing, water fill, and self-cleaning, delivering a hassle-free cleaning experience. Furthermore, the advanced AI function helps detect dust to adjust suction power and identify and bypasses obstacles such as pet waste and cables.
Tapo also introduced three value-focused vacuums – Tapo RV10 lite (vacuum only), RV10 (vacuum and mop), and RV10 Plus (vacuum, mop, and auto-empty dock). The RV10 line comes with smart navigation with superior suction power to make everyday cleaning easy. The RV10 series provides the best value possible with its strong functionality and unbeatable price.
Tapo RV10 lite will be priced at $229.99 becoming the brand’s most affordable robot vacuum with gyroscope navigation. For $20 more, users can get the Tapo RV10 with a mop function. Both will be available in Q1 2023.
Various Matter and HomeKit compatible products TP-Link has been driving the practical application of the Matter protocol and is one of the first companies to receive the Matter 1.0 certification. By introducing Matter to its product lineups, TP-Link will bring users seamless interoperability across platforms and enable simpler setups.
TP-Link is showcasing 15 new Matter-compatible products and five new HomeKit-compatible products across its Tapo and Kasa lines, including smart plugs, smart switches, smart outlet extenders, smart bulbs, and a sensor. The Tapo P125M Mini Smart Plug features a compact design to stack two plugs in the same outlet, while the Kasa KP125M supports real-time energy consumption monitoring. The Tapo S505D Smart Dimmer Switch allows users to dim and brighten their lights in multiple ways.
Featuring three smart AC outlets, three always-on AC outlets, and three USB ports, the Tapo P306 Smart Wi-Fi Outlet Extender is also compatible with the Matter protocol and a wide range of smart home ecosystems. Lastly, the Matter-certified Tapo L535E Multicolor Smart Light Bulb produces up to 1,100 lumens of white brightness and has a dimming range from 100 to one percent. More products will be showcased at the TP-Link CES booth.
The Tapo P125M will become the first TP-Link Matter product available for purchase in January 2023 for just $19.99. The Tapo S505D will be available for $27.99 at launch in March 2023.
