Troubleshooting guide for Tapo 4G camera
What do you do if the SIM card doesn’t work with your Tapo 4G camera?
- Make sure the SIM card is a Nano SIM card that supports LTE-TDD/LTE-FDD. And the supported frequency bands are LTE-FDD: B 1/3/5/7/8/20/28 and LTE-TDD: B 38/40/41.
- Some SIM cards have a PIN code. Insert the Nano SIM card into your phone to disable the PIN first.
Note: Do not insert the IoT (Internet of Things) or M2M (Machine-to-Machine) SIM cards into your phone. IoT/M2M SIM cards are designed for Internet-connected devices, rather than traditional phones. Improper use may lock or deactivate the SIM card by the carrier.
