Here, we take HX510 as a demonstration.

1. Connect the Ethernet cable to your router’s WAN/LAN port from the modem like Pic 1, or the Ethernet port on the wall like Pic 2.

2. Access the web management page

Type http://tplinkwifi.net in the address bar. It's recommended to use Firefox, Chrome, and Edge. To get some help, please refer to the article How do I log into the web-based Utility (Management Page) of TP-Link wireless router?

During the initial login, you will need to create a log in password. Some providers may have pre-configured the password as this is a customized product. If you are unaware of this password, look for it on the bottom label of the device or reach out to your ISP.

3. Select your region and time zone.

4. Choose the operation mode and internet connection type.

Enter the setup information like Connection Type and VLAN ID provided by your Internet service provider. You can switch the Operation Mode to AP Mode if the main HX510 is connected to a router. Display the Internet Setup page.

5. Customize your Wi-Fi name and password.

Display the wireless settings page. It shows the band steering on-off button, SSID, and password box.

6. Connection test. Please wait a few seconds to let it finish.Display the connection test.

7. Summary step. Please double-check the setup information.

8. Done! Please enjoy your internet.
