How to navigate the Robot Vacuum to clean with the Remote Control

When cleaning a specific area of ​​your home, you can use the remote control to move the Robot Vacuum to the target location.

*Here we take Tapo RV30 Max Plus as an example. App pages and features vary by model.

1. On the Tapo app's home page, tap the device card to access the device page.

2. Tap the menu icon on the top right corner. Tap “Remote Control”.

Note: When using the remote control, it is recommended that you connect your phone and Robot Vacuum to the same network. Otherwise, there may be delays.

3. You can navigate the robot vacuum by tapping the direction buttons to move it forward, left, or right. Enable “Turn On Cleaning” to start cleaning your home while you control its movement.

4. You can also use the following shortcut buttons to control the robot vacuum.

Tap "Spot Cleaning" to clean a rectangular area measuring 1.5 m × 1.5 m (4.9 ft × 4.9 ft) centered around the vacuum.

Tap "Dock" to send the robot vacuum back to its charging dock.
