After recent customer feedback and research we have begun the process of updating the firmware for Archer C7 to address these concerns and improve its stability and performance. If you are experiencing unstable connection issues, or you want to improve your wireless experience, we suggest that you upgrade to the latest firmware for your router.

Please check the hardware version on the bottom of your router and download the corresponding firmware from the links below:

Archer C7 V2: Click here

Archer C7 V4: Click here

*Note as firmware for other Archer C7 hardware versions become available we will update this FAQ.

*Note: Depending on your router’s current firmware, you may need to reconfigure your device after the upgrade.  If you have a configuration backup file for your router, it may not work on the new firmware.
