Can Deco Mesh, OneMesh, EasyMesh and Omada Mesh products work together?
While TP-Link's Deco, Archer Router, and Omada EAP all support Mesh functionality individually, they are not designed to work together to form a single Mesh network. These product lines, although under the same brand (TP-Link), differ in their technology and software, preventing them from interoperating in a unified Mesh network, you may still be able to use them together, but they won’t be able to form a single, unified Mesh network. In other term, if you use an Archer Router and a Deco system together, there won’t be any seamless roaming between the Router and the Deco system.

Notes:
1. Devices that support One Mesh can be found at https://www.tp-link.com/onemesh/product-list/
2. Devices that support Easy Mesh can be found at https://www.tp-link.com/easymesh/product-list/
3. Some models may not support EasyMesh feature when working in AP Mode. Please pay attention to the subsequent firmware releases on the TP-Link official website.
4. Some models may not support EasyMesh Ethernet backhaul yet. Get to know what models has already supported Ethernet backhaul here: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/593722
5. Ethernet Backhaul is a feature that allows you to connect multiple Mesh devices by ethernet, enhancing Mesh network stability and performance. Get to know more about Ethernet backhaul here: https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1794/
6. Backhaul Aggregation (Adaptive Path Selection) allows Deco units to use multiple Wi-Fi bands to transmit data, improving overall backhaul performance, Wi-Fi 7 Deco models could even combine Wired + Wireless backhaul altogether, details can be found at https://www.tp-link.com/whole-home-mesh/
7. Compared to other Home Mesh systems, Deco Mesh system have multiple configurable wireless networks. Having multiple Wi-Fi networks (SSIDs) allows you to easily manage and categorize client devices, A guest network is a separate Wi-Fi network that is specifically created to provide internet access to visitors or guests without granting them access to your main or internal network, IoT network is specifically designed to connect and manage IoT devices.
8. Pre-configuration makes installation a lot easier, take Deco as an example, with the main Deco configured properly, you only need to power on the rest satellite units, they will automatically join the Mesh network without manual intervention.
