December 30, 2024 – VIGI by TP-Link, a provider of easy and intelligent video solutions, recently upgraded its VIGI app to simplify the management of complex security systems and enhance user experience on small screens. The main upgrades are the updated Live View interface and the introduction of Multi-Screen mode.

Enjoy Live View and Playback in One Interface

The playback feature is now seamlessly integrated into the live view page rather than being a separate function. Simply swipe the timeline or click on the event thumbnail within the live view page to jump directly to the desired playback clip. You can also click on the device name above to switch devices.

Multi-Screen Mode for a Seamless Experience on Small Screens

Instead of switching to each individual camera live view page, multi-screen mode lets you swipe through live feeds in portrait mode or switch to landscape mode to view up to 16 camera streams.

This feature enables you to monitor multiple devices simultaneously, saving time and enhancing your awareness. Plus, you won't miss any details, even on a smaller screen.

More Optimizations

• The new live view page now supports fisheye devices, providing more dewarp modes to accommodate a wider variety of scenarios.

• Screen resizing is now easier for fisheye and corridor modes, improving accessibility on tablets and smaller smartphones for an enhanced viewing experience.
