If your Tapo Robot Vacuum isn't releasing water while mopping, here are some steps to get it back on track:

Step 1: Check the Water Tank: Detach the water tank from your Robot Vacuum and verify that it's filled to the appropriate level.

Step 2: Clean the Contacts: Gently wipe the metal contacts on the water tank with a clean, dry cloth before reattaching the dustbin and water tank. (Remember: Moist or dirty contacts can lead to water pump issues.)

Locate the metal contacts on the water tank.

Step 3: Align the Contacts: Gently pull the metal contacts on the main unit outward to ensure they align properly with the contacts on the water tank. Make sure to power off the robot vacuum before doing this.

Step 4: Restart the Vacuum: Give your robot vacuum a fresh start after cleaning.

Note: For RV20 Max/RV30 Max, press the power button on the top for 3 seconds to power on/off the robot vacuum. For other models, manually reboot the robot vacuum with its side ON/OFF button.
