What can I do with two buttons and screen on LTE-Advanced Mobile Wi-Fi?

Here takes M7650 as demonstration.

First let’s see what are these buttons used for:

Power button:

• Press and hold to power on/off the Mobile Wi-Fi.

• Press to turn on/off the screen display.

• Press to select an icon.

Menu button:

• Press to enter the Menu Screen from the Home Screen.

• Press to switch between icons or options.

• Press to light on the screen.

Now we can just use these two buttons with a screen to configure LTE-Advanced Mobile Wi-Fi.

1. Find the SSID (network name) and Wireless Password

Press  menu button to enter the Menu page and switch to the Device Info page.

Press power button to enter the Device Info page.

 

2. Enable Data Roaming

Press  menu button and switch to the Data Roaming menu.

Press power button to enter the Data Roaming page.

Press and to select ON.

 

3. Specify Network Mode

Press  menu button and switch to the Network Mode menu.

 

Press power button to enter the Network Mode page.

Press and to select 4G Pref, 4G Only or 3G Only as needed.

4. Specify Network Band

Press  menu button and switch to the Network Band menu.

 

Press power button to enter the Network Band page.

Press and to select 2.4GHz or 5GHz as needed.

5. Enable Power Saving

Press  menu button and switch to the Power Saving menu.

 

Press power button to enter the Power Saving page.

Press and to select ON.

6. Enable WPS function

Press  menu button and switch to the WPS menu.

 

Press power button to enter the WPS page.

Press and   together to enable the WPS function, and then the Mobile Wi-Fi starts to scan WPS-supported devices.
