VPN Client is used to create VPN connections for devices in your home network to access a remote VPN server. To use the VPN feature, simply configure a VPN connection and choose your desired devices on your Deco router, then these devices can access the remote VPN server. Please follow the steps below:

1. Launch the Deco APP, go to More>Advanced>VPN Client, and tap Add VPN Server, choose Custom.

2. Select OpenVPN, enter the NordVPN username and password and import the config file required by NordVPN company.

Note: The username and password can be either NordVPN account or NordVPN service credentials.

If you are not sure how to get those configuration information, please follow the below steps:

Step1: Login to the Official Website of NordVPN to create an account, go to the Nord Account dashboard as below and click on Set up NordVPN manually.

Step2: You will receive a verification code in your email used for NordVPN services. Type the code in and find the NordVPN service username and password referring to the below instruction.

Step3: Choose a NordVPN server and download the related config.

Go to NordVPN recommended server utility here. It will recommend a server base on your network, click Show available protocols to download the UDP or TCP config. You can also download all servers configs here: https://downloads.nordcdn.com/configs/archives/servers/ovpn.zip

Tips: For TP-Link routers, only one configuration file can be uploaded at a time.

3. After all information has been filled in, please click on save. Now you have finished all configuration steps and can add VPN clients to enjoy the VPN service.
