How to add your Deco to an existing EasyMesh network
Deco EasyMesh allows you to link your Deco and other EasyMesh-compatible devices of the same or different brands to form a mesh network and expand Wi-Fi coverage.
Adding your Deco to an EasyMesh network as an EasyMesh Agent can expand the network coverage and copy the Wi-Fi settings from the existing EasyMesh network.
Note:
- Features may vary from different Deco models.
- The steps may vary depending on your device's operation system. Here, we take the iOS system as an example.
- To add your Deco as an EasyMesh Agent, the Deco network will be reset and all data will be cleared.
- Some gateway functions, such as network dial-up, HomeShield, Parental Controls, QoS, and NAT, will be unavailable on Deco.
Before Start
- Make sure the EasyMesh network is already set up and works well. Please check the user manual or ask the manufacturer.
- Make sure your Deco network is set up and works well. If not, you can scan the QR code below or go to Google Play or the App Store to download and install the Deco app on your Android or iOS device. Then follow app instructions to set up your Deco network first.
- Make sure your Deco is powered on near the EasyMesh network.
Follow the steps below to add your Deco to an existing EasyMesh network.
1. Open Deco app, go to More > Advanced > EasyMesh and enable EasyMesh.
2. Enable EasyMesh and tap Add a Deco to an existing EasyMesh network.
3. Tap Start Setup and wait for your Deco to finish resetting.
Note: Please keep the Deco app open during the setup process.
4. Wait until the Deco’s LED pulses blue and connect to its default Wi-Fi again. Then follow app instructions to set the location and auto-update schedule for it.
5. Tap Let’s begin.
6. Use any of the way to add a Deco network to the existing EasyMesh network.

Connect via WPS button:

Place the WPS button on the EasyMesh Controller.
- Then tap I have pressed the WPS button on the Deco app.

Connect via an Ethernet cable:
- Tap Use wired connection on the Deco app.
- Connect the EasyMesh Controller and Deco with an Ethernet cable, then tap They’re connected.
7. Wait for the Deco to configure the network settings and reboot.
8. Tap Next and add more Decos if any.
Added! Now your Deco is now working as an EasyMesh Agent. The EasyMesh Controller will control network and Wi-Fi settings.
