As market leaders in the consumer and SMB networking space TP-LINK ESPAÑA SL is looking for a driven, dynamic and ambitious professional to further enhance the sales team and bring new sales opportunities to the business. This will allow the successful candidate to make a significant impact and truly play a part in the development and success of the ES business moving forwards.

    The individual must have a solid background in business development, networking solutions, key account management and field sales experience, they will work within the TP-LINK B2B team and have good knowledge of the VAR, VDR and Distribution channel.

     

     Key job role and responsibilities:

     

    • To drive brand new business within the B2B space using existing customer relationships and channel contacts (primary channels include VAR, VAD, System Integrators, Public Sector, Hospitality, Network Installers etc)
    • Further development of existing TP-LINK managed account base with particular focus on the SMB range of networking products
    • The ability to build and leverage distribution relationships to identify new reseller and B2B opportunities
    • Effectively communicate account progress and pipeline of opportunities to the TP-LINK management team through weekly reporting and regular meetings
    • Work within a team environment and offer support to other areas of the business when required, occasional tradeshow cover and training activities.
    • Further development of the TP-LINK partner program through new initiatives, driving distribution sales, VAR customers and general channel engagement, further enhancing the program benefits and customer value proposition.
    • Segmentation and development of key partners using sound judgment and effective time management to develop Tier one customers, including the utilisation of the TP-LINK unmanaged account base to identify new development opportunities.

     

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Full ES driving license with a view to visit customers across the whole of the ES depending on office locations, this may entail occasional overnight stop-overs.
    • Strong customer facing skills with competence in training, presentations and professional business planning.
    • Ability to work in a team environment but also as an individual contributor, someone with self motivation and a desire to deliver results.
    • 5+ Years of IT and/or Computer Network sales. Networking vendor experience preferred but not essential, also Distribution and Reseller experience is important.
    • Track record of building new business in the B2B space and key account management skills

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Development and management of existing Distribution partners whilst identifying new opportunities to expand TP-LINK in this channel.
    • Identifying B2B opportunities in the reseller market with an emphasis on the SMB/Enterprise  range of networking products and developing new initiatives to increase our customer reach.
    • Planning and executing channel marketing activities in line with company objectives.
    • Monitoring distribution stock levels to ensure minimal stock outages across the range.
    • Planning and coordinating sales floor presence with other team members/customers.
    • Attending Distribution sales events and meetings where necessary.
    • Regular and pragmatic updates to distribution on new products, promotions, TP-LINK events and key marketing campaigns, this will include sales training.
    • Competitive analysis within the networking space and be able to communicate comparative TP-LINK solutions in a clear and concise manner.
    • Help drive and monitor partner marketing plans, providing commentary against outstanding activity, on-going performance and final execution.
    • Provide regular progress reports to internal management and contribute to internal sales meetings and quarterly reviews
    • Provide sales support to other B2B team members when required by management  
    • Pro-actively call TP-LINK Partner base to prospect new customers and help drive partner sign-ups, training accreditation courses and webinars when required
    • Willing to visit all Distribution partners across the region and possible overnight stays where necessary

     

    Desired Skills & Experience:

    • Minimum 7 years IT sales experience, ideally in the networking market but not essential
    • Ability to work cross-culturally and adapt to different working practices and principles
    • Good customer interaction skills and the ability to negotiate effectively towards a win/win outcomes for all key stake holders
    • Project/time management and organizational skills
    • Educated to a high standard: ideally degree level, preferably in a business or IT related subjects
    • Business and market analysis skills
    • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word and Excel
    • Full Spain Driving license

    • Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial concept to execution, ensuring effective ROI and company expenditure management.
    • Establish and maintain cross-functional relationships with all levels of customer organizations, including C-Level executives, Directors, Sales, Marketing, Purchasing, Finance, and Technical departments. Facilitate relationships between relevant TP-LINK departments and counterparts in each organization.
    • Work effectively within a team environment and offer support to other areas of the business when required, including involvement in tradeshows, training activities, and customer events.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and competitive insights that can inform strategic decisions and business development initiatives.

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • A Full ES driving license and flexibility to visit customers nationwide, with occasional overnight travel depending on office locations.
    • Strong customer-facing skills, with the ability to lead training sessions, deliver presentations, and develop comprehensive business plans.
    • 5+ years of IT product sales experience, with a proven track record of working with HMO/MDU-focused resellers and end users. Experience in the CCTV/Security sectors is highly desirable.
    • A highly motivated, well-organized individual with strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Project management experience is desirable.
