Why does my cloud camera show offline on tpCamera APP or tpCloud website?
Note:This FAQ is suitable for all TP-Link cloud cameras including NC200, NC220, NC250 and so on. Here we take NC200 as example.
The problem will be like this:
You log into your tpCloud account on tpCamera APP or tpCloud Website to view the camera. However, the camera shows offline and you can’t view it as shown in the following pictures.

How to solve this problem?
Here are the detailed steps to solve this problem:
Step 1
Please first confirm your network topology like the following figure.
Note: Camera and computer should be in the same LAN as we need to use this computer to configure your Camera.
Step 2
Please check your camera’s IP address via this link How can I find the IP address of the cloud camera?. Then open a web browser and type its IP address into the address bar, and press enter button. Here we take 192.168.0.110 as an example:
Note: If you can’t check your camera’s IP address, please check whether your camera is correctly connected to your router.
Step 3
Input the username and password (default username and password are both admin), and log into the management webpage of your camera.
Step 4
Select Advanced—>Cloud Setting. Input your tpCloud account and password, and click “Register”.
Step 5
Please confirm that it doesn’t show the following figure:
Note: If you encounter the problem above, it means your camera can’t access to Internet. Please check if your router can access to Internet and if your camera is correctly connected to your router. Then you can click “Refresh” button to register again.
Step 6
At last, your IP camera will be successfully bundled with this tpCloud account.
Step 7
Now you can view camera on tpCamera APP or tpCloud Website normally.
