Parent Control feature can be used to allow your child’s computer to access only certain websites during the time period you’ve set up. This is quite helpful if parents don’t want their children’s computers to have full access to the whole Internet, but only some needed ones.

We take TD-W8968 V1 as example in this article.
Step 1 Login to modem router’s configuration page:
Open your web browser and type the LAN IP address of the router in the address bar (the default IP address of TP-Link Modem routers is 192.168.1.1), then press Enter.
When you are prompted, enter the router´s username and password (the default username and password are both admin).
If you cannot open this page, please click here for more instruction.
Step 2 On the left-side menu, click Parent Control to open settings page. Select Enable parent control and input the MAC address of parental PC on this page.
Note: To set the current PC as the parental PC, please click Copy to Above button to add this PC´s MAC Address to the above Parental PC field automatically.
Click Save to save the settings
Step 3 Add the MAC address of the computers that you want to control in the boxes below.
Note: If child PC is in current LAN, you can find MAC address of child PC on the drop-down list of All MAC Address in Current Lan, click it, then it will be filled to the Child PC field automatically.
Step 4 Select the time you allow the computers under control to go online. You can choose the Start Time and the End Time to make this, and also you can choose to click the blocks to mark them blue.
Step 5 Click Add button to add the URL you allow the computers under your control to visit. If you want to delete the URL you have added, choose it and then click Delete Selected button.
Step 6 Click Save button.

After the above settings, Child PC whose MAC address is 44:D8:84:A8:53:9C、58:B0:35:F8:04:6D and F8:1E: DF: EF: 26:16 can only approach the Internet during the marked time, and visit the website www.microsoft.com only.
