How to add a TP-Link smart bulb to the Deco network?
- Configure the bulb via Kasa app and connect it to the Wi-Fi network of Deco;
- Launch Deco app, tap the Add icon at the upper right corner, then choose Smart Devices -> Lights -> Smart Bulb (TP-Link).
- Tap NEXT, the app will say Searching…
- Wait up to 30 seconds until the bulb is discovered. If not, please tap TRY AGAIN.
- When the bulb is discovered, tap NEXT and choose a location for the bulb. Then tap DONE, and the bulb will list on the app.
How to reset a TP-Link smart bulb?
- To reset the bulb without losing the configuration settings:
- Turn the light switch controlling the bulb to the OFF position.
- Flip the light switch on and off 3 times.
- To reset the bulb to factory defaults:
- Turn the light switch controlling the bulb to the OFF position.
- Flip the light switch on and off 5 times.

Troubleshooting
Fail to search the bulb / the bulb becomes unreachable/offline
- Check the light switch of the bulb and make sure it’s always switched to the ON position;
- Make sure Remote Control is enabled on Kasa app.
- Move the bulb closer to the Deco router.
- Avoid physical obstructions and radio interference in the surrounding area.
- Reset the bulb and reconnect it to the Deco network.
