How to manually set up Surfshark WireGuard on Deco App

VPN Client is used to create VPN connections for devices in your home network to access a remote VPN server. To use the VPN feature, simply configure a VPN connection and choose your desired devices on your Deco router, then these devices can access the remote VPN server. Please follow the steps below:

1. Launch the Deco APP, go to More>Advanced>VPN Client, and tap Add VPN Server, choose Custom.

2. Select WireGuard, fill in the description, and import the .conf file you obtained from Surfshark.

If you are not sure how to get the .conf file, please follow the below steps:

Step1: Login to the Surfshark. If you don’t have an account, click on here to get one. Then turn to the Surfshark Account dashboard.

Step2: Click Products>VPN>Manual setup>Router

Step3: Choose WireGuard, and follow the steps below to generate a key pair for your connection.

Step4: After the key generation is complete, select the location of your VPN server and click the download button. Your browser will then start downloading a file in .conf format.
