Full-Color Night Vision: The Tapo D210 uses a combination of advanced image processing and a built-in spotlight to illuminate the area in front of the doorbell. This spotlight activates automatically when the camera detects low-light environments, allowing the camera to record in full color rather than in black-and-white (which is typical of traditional infrared night vision).

A2: The Tapo D210 has a "6400mAh Built-in Battery" that delivers extended power, freeing you from the hassle of cords and outlets. The battery life is estimated to last up to 180 days with 300 seconds of use per day. However, the actual battery life may vary depending on usage, settings, and environmental factors.
Q3: What is the specification of the power adapter for charging the battery?
A3: The Tapo D210 doorbell uses a standard power adapter for charging its built-in battery. Please use the power adapter with 5.0V 1.0A to charge the battery.
Q4: Can the doorbell battery be charged with solar panels?
A4: Yes, the Tapo D210 doorbell can be charged using a solar panel accessory called the Tapo A201. This option allows for continuous charging and can help extend the battery life without the need for frequent manual recharging.

Q1: Can multiple D210 connect to the same Tapo Chime/Hub?
A1: Yes, multiple Tapo D210 can connect to the same Tapo Chime or Hub. Just ensure that the Chime or Hub is within range of all the Tapo D210 for optimal performance. You can connect them via the following path: Tapo App > D210 > Settings > Doorbell > Paired Chimes > Add Chime/Hub.
Q2: Can one D210 connect to the multiple Tapo Chimes/Hubs?
A2: Yes, one Tapo D210 video doorbell can connect to multiple Tapo Chimes or Hubs. To connect the D210 to multiple Tapo Chimes or Hubs, you can do so through the Tapo app by going to the D210's device settings, selecting "Doorbell", then "Paired Chimes", and adding the additional Chimes/Hubs.
Q3: Can the doorbell be connected to other brands' chimes?
A3: No. The Tapo D210 doorbell works with its own compatible chimes, and it cannot support direct connection to chimes from other brands.
Part 4. Features
Q1. How can I receive notifications only when someone presses the doorbell while keep recording the detection clips?
A1: This feature is currently not supported, please wait for subsequent firmware updates.
But you can realize it by turning on Activity Notifications and unchecking all Activity Type.
If you only need the doorbell to record the doorbell press event, you can set the wake-up settings in Device Settings > Detection to Doorbell Pressed.
Q2. If the doorbell shows offline in Tapo App, will Tapo Chime or Tapo Hub still ring when the doorbell is pressed?
A2: There are numerous reasons why a doorbell may go offline.
If the doorbell is remotely offline but Wi-Fi still connected, the chime will still ring when the doorbell is pressed. This allows the doorbell to continue functioning even if there is a connectivity issue between the doorbell and the app.
Note that if the doorbell is completely disconnected from WiFi, or if the doorbell is out of battery, or other offline conditions, the Chime will not ring even if the doorbell is pressed.

A3: No. The Tapo D210 doorbell is a battery-powered device and does not support 24/7 recording. It offers cloud storage/local SD card storage for event-triggered recordings, such as motion detection. For continuous recording, you would need a compatible Tapo camera that supports that feature.
Q4: How many types of ringtones does the D210 support?
A4: The Tapo D210 doorbell supports a selection of ringtones, offering 11 different options for Built-in Doorbell. You can customize the ringtone through the Tapo app. In addition to this, the Tapo chime supports 7 ringtones.
