Why the newly-purchased 3G router doesn't work
As 5G is rolling out, some major internet service providers like Telstra and Optus have shut off their 2G frequency across Australia in the past few years, and they plan to discontinue the 3G operations by 2024 as well. (Optus switched off 3G 2100MHz at some areas already, 900MHz will remain unchanged until 2024). If you are having problems connecting your TP-Link 3G-Only mobile routers to the internet, please kindly check with your SIM card provider whether 3G service is available in your area and what frequency it is on. If it is not available, we highly recommend you returning the router to the store where you bought it from.
