This document explains how to evaluate your PC configuration for managing different network scales in VMS Local.
Requirements
- Windows PC (Minimum CPU: i5 or R5; Minimum memory: 4GB)
- VMS Local installer
Introduction
You can evaluate the necessary PC configurations for optimal performance across various scales of networks in VMS Local.
Configuration
Configuration for Scenario 1
Step 1. Install the VMS service. After installation, check system resource usage in Task Manager.
Step 2. After configuring sites, users, and devices, monitor CPU and memory usage. Stable operation below 80% usage indicates suitable configuration.
Step 3. If CPU or memory usage exceeds 80%, upgrade the PC's configurations, then repeat steps 1 and 2 until a stable environment is achieved.
