A: VIGI cameras support 12V DC or PoE (802.3af/at, class 0).
Q2: What is the viewing angle of VIGI cameras?
A: The range angle of the field of view is related to the case type and focal length of the camera, please refer to the specification sheet of the corresponding product.
The following is the field of view range of the VIGI C340 with different focal lengths.
2.8 mm: horizontal FOV: 102°, vertical FOV: 55°, diagonal FOV: 122°

A: One camera supports 3 main streams & 3 sub-streams.
Q5: Does VIGI camera supports Web UI?
A: Yes, all models will support Web UI except VIGI C300HP/P V1.0, C400HP/P V1.0.
Q6: Do VIGI cameras have a built-in speaker and microphone?
A: Yes, many models support both the built-in speaker and microphone, such as the VIGI C540, and some models support only the built-in microphone, such as the VIGI C240.

A: Yes, VIGI cameras can be integrated with other security systems. They support ONVIF protocol, which allows for interoperability with other ONVIF-compliant devices and systems. This means you can integrate VIGI cameras with third-party NVRs (Network Video Recorders) or VMS (Video Management Systems) for a comprehensive security solution.

A: We can use the web interface that comes with the device to reset the device, or reset the device through VIGI Security Manager.
Q9: Can I save the recordings to the computer?
A: Yes, refer to the link to save the recordings to the computer via VIGI Security Manager.
Q10: What’s the username/password of VIGI camera?
A: Currently, the username is admin by default and cannot be changed. Password is set when you first activated the camera. If you forget it, please refer to the link to reset the password.
Q11: Can VIGI cameras be powered by PoE switches?
A: Yes, VIGI wired cameras support PoE (Power over Ethernet) and can be powered by PoE switches. This eliminates the need for a separate power supply for the cameras, simplifying the installation process.
Q12: Can VIGI cameras be used outdoors?
A: Yes, some VIGI cameras are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. They have an IP66 or IP67 weatherproof rating, which means they are protected against dust and water, making them suitable for outdoor installations.

Q1: Can Tapo cameras or Kasa cameras work with VIGI NVR?
A: Kasa cameras can’t work with VIGI NVR. But Tapo cameras can work with VIGI NVR as Tapo cameras support Onvif protocol. You can refer to the link to add Tapo cameras to VIGI NVR. For Tapo C200, pan and tilt function is not available on VIGI NVR.
Q2: Is the Hard Disk Drive (HDD) included in the package?
A: No, it is not included. You need to buy HDD separately. Please prepare a 3.5-inch HDD and we recommend using HDD of enterprise or surveillance level.
Q3: What’s the capacity limit on HDD?
A: Currently, it is up to 10 TB for single HDD.
Q4: Will recordings be saved to the cloud or just in the VIGI NVR?
A: Videos will be only stored on the HDD and VIGI NVR doesn’t support to be stored on cloud server.
Q5: How many cameras can I use with VIGI NVR1008?
A: VIGI NVR1008 has 8 channels designed to handle up to 8 cameras.
Q6: Do I have to have internet for this to work?
A: VIGI NVR and VIGI cameras can work without Internet, you can watch live view feed and playback recorded videos in NVR local side. But without Internet, you're not able to remotely access this device on your phone or PC and you can't receive motion detection alerts.
