TP-Link Unveils World’s 1st Batch WiFi 7 Tri-Band Network Adapter — Archer TBE550E

By TP-Link Editorial Group

Sep, 2023 — TP-Link, a leading global provider of reliable networking devices, today announced its groundbreaking Archer TBE550E WiFi 7 adapter. Marking a world-first-batch, this WiFi 7 Tri-Band network adapter opens a flagship for speed, low latency, and improved reliability amidst dense network conditions.

The Industry's Cutting-Edge Adapter Ever — BE9300 WiFi 7 Bluetooth 5.3 PCIe Adapter

As the flagship product of WiFi 7 network adapters, Archer TBE550E is one of the fastest tri-band network adapters in the industry, featuring the latest 6 GHz frequency band, 320 MHz bandwidth, and 4K-QAM, which made a breakthrough in adapter performance.

Archer TBE550E integrates the latest WiFi 7 technology, ushering WiFi into a new era. The brand-new 6 GHz band is exclusive to 6 GHz-compatible devices, eliminating interference from legacy devices. The additional 3× 320 MHz channels make the 6 GHz band the widest band ever opened for WiFi devices, enabling many more simultaneous transmissions at the highest possible speeds. 4K-QAM brings 20% higher theoretical transmission rates than 1024-QAM. Also, Multi-RU and MLO (Multi-Link Operation) make full use of every resource and deliver more reliable networks, improving network anti-interference to reduce delay. The combination of 6GHz and 2.4GHz bands allows the adapter peak rate to reach an unimaginable 6448Mbps.

Maximized Coverage

The Archer TBE550E WiFi 7 adapter features two high-performing, multi-directional antennas with a magnetized base, elevating your WiFi reception capabilities for uninterrupted streaming. Conveniently position the magnetic base on your desktop to optimize signal reception.

Bluetooth 5.3

Building upon the high-speed and wide-range capabilities of its predecessor, the updated Bluetooth 5.3 offers enhanced reliability and security, ensuring seamless interoperability with game controllers, headphones, keyboards, and more. Additionally, it supports BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), significantly reducing power consumption when paired with other BLE devices.

Worry-Free Security——WPA3

The latest WiFi security protocol, WPA3, brings new capabilities to improve cybersecurity. More secure encryption in WiFi password safety and enhanced protection against brute-force attacks combine to safeguard your home WiFi.

Sci-fi Design, Exquisite Details

Archer TBE550E utilizes our advanced molding technology for a premium metal heat sink finish. The futuristic heat sink design brings you the best performance.

The external magnetic base, coupled with an extension cord, expands signal range. Equipped with vibrant LED lighting effects, the base provides an intuitive indication of network status, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.

"TP-Link continues to pioneer in networking, now with the world's first batch WiFi 7 Tri-Band network adapter," said the product developer of Archer TBE550E at TP-Link. "WiFi 7 will transform how we connect in our homes and workplaces, enabling new levels of speed, capacity, and low-latency connectivity for the most advanced applications. Our Archer TBE550E adapter unlocks WiFi 7's full potential, offering users nearly triple the speed of WiFi 6."

†Maximum wireless signal rates are the physical rates derived from IEEE Standard 802.11 specifications. Actual wireless data throughput and wireless coverage are not guaranteed and will vary as a result of operation systems and access point limitations. The 160 MHz bandwidth might not be available on the 5 GHz band, and the 320 MHz bandwidth might not be available on the 6 GHz band in some regions/countries due to regulatory limits on the spectrum, hence the theoretical speeds may vary.

Use of WPA3 requires APs to also support the corresponding feature.

△Use of WiFi 7 (802.11be), WiFi 6 (802.11ax), WiFi 6E (802.11ax), and other features including MLO, 320 MHz Bandwidth, 4K-QAM, Multi-RUs, OFDMA, MU-MIMO, and BSS Color requires the operation systems and access points to also support the corresponding features. The 320 MHz bandwidth is only available on the 6 GHz band. Not all 320 MHz channels may be available in the 6 GHz band in some regions/countries due to regulatory restrictions.
