With Wi-Fi 6 capability built in, Deco X50-PoE is a whole home mesh system designed to deliver a huge boost in coverage, speed, and capacity – delivering fast and stable Wi-Fi connectivity for up to 150 devices across even the largest homes.

Harnessing the power of AX3000 Dual-band Wi-Fi, Deco X50-PoE delivers up to 3.0 Gbps wireless speed for simultaneous 4K/8K video streaming, downloading, and lag-free online gaming – perfect for large families juggling home working and schooling with streaming and gaming. Its 160MHz channel, which doubles bandwidth and throughput, makes Deco X50-PoE 250 percent faster than standard Wi-Fi 5 mesh systems.

 

Fantastic flexibility

Deco X50-PoE has a sleek, modern, and compact design, making it a welcome addition to any home interior. It has been engineered to be highly versatile and empower users to install it anywhere, whether they want to mount it on a wall or ceiling or place it on a tabletop. Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a standard that allows Ethernet cables to transmit data and power simultaneously using a single network cable. With its PoE functionality, Deco X50-PoE leverages this technology to provide both data connection and electrical power to devices using a single cable, eliminating the need for additional cables or power adapters. The newly upgraded Deco app guides users through installation step-by-step with clear instructions and simple visuals, making setup fast and easy.

As Deco X50-PoE is equipped with two built-in auto sensing ports - a 2.5 Gbps WAN/LAN port and a 1 Gbps WAN/LAN port, both of which can serve as PoE ports - it can be installed anywhere in the home, even if there is no power outlet nearby, and still enable multiple users to access fast, reliable internet connectivity.

Wi-Fi ‘dead zones’ cause huge issues for people who live in older properties, multi-story homes or have additional outbuildings. With its built-in AI Roaming technology and self-learning capabilities, Deco X50-PoE forms a unified mesh network (with a single network name) to eliminate weak signal areas and empower people with Smart Roaming: giving them the ability to walk through their home and enjoy seamless connectivity on the move, at the fastest possible speeds.

To ensure Deco X50-PoE 3 pack can perform in every corner of every home, it has been engineered to deliver smooth and uninterrupted Wi-Fi coverage for properties up to 6,500 square feet – with a single pack covering up to 2,500 square feet, comfortably larger than the average residential property in the UK.

 

Personalised protection

To ensure that all devices and network users are protected online, every Deco product – including Deco X50-PoE – comes with TP-Link Homeshield security protectio built-in. Once configured, HomeShield can be accessed via the Deco app and enables users to customise their home network with a range of enhanced security tools that are personalised to their needs.

These tools include advanced deep packet inspection (DPI) to constantly monitor, examine, and locate devices on the Wi-Fi network and identify potential security risks in real-time; the ability to assign bandwidth to specific devices or applications as needed; and comprehensive reports on browser history, internet usage, and device statistics.

To protect children and promote healthy digital habits, HomeShield Pro on Deco X50-PoE features a suite of parental controls such as age-level content filters and online time limits, so parents can check and control the sites children visit and how much time they spend on each.
