TP-Link Archer BE800 and Deco BE85 Receive Wi-Fi Alliance Wi-Fi 7 Certification

January 9th, 2024 — TP-Link Archer BE800 and TP-Link Deco BE85 are officially Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 7™, by Wi-Fi Alliance. These are among the world's first home routers to receive Wi-Fi 7 certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance. 

The Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 7™ program is an interoperability certification program developed by Wi-Fi Alliance to ensure wireless devices meet high standards for interoperability, security, and a range of Wi-Fi protocols. Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ devices deliver the best user experience. Wi-Fi 7, the latest generation of Wi-Fi technology, improves WLAN performance in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz frequency bands, offering advantages such as higher throughput, lower latency, and increased reliability. With the Wi-Fi CERTIFIED 7™ certification, the two TP-Link models fully demonstrate their outstanding Wi-Fi 7 performance and interoperability.
