How to connect a USB Device to your Tapo Smart HomeBase (Tapo H500)

Tapo Smart HomeBase employs secure encryption technology to store all captured videos. You can easily back up or share recorded videos by connecting a USB storage device to the HomeBase. Here’s how:

  1. Locate the USB 2.0 port at the back panel of the HomeBase.
  2. Connect your USB device to the USB 2.0 port of the HomeBase.

Display connecting a USB device to the device.

  1. Open the Tapo app and go to the Status page of your HomeBase. Tap USB Access and check whether your USB device is identified.

Display the USB Access position on the app. Display the USB Access page.
