How to check MAC address on Kasa smart home devices

If you want to know the MAC address of your Kasa smart home device, choose one of the methods below to check its MAC address.

Here take KL110 as a demonstration.

Method 1: Via the label

Turn over the packaging box, you can see the MAC address printed on the label at the back of the box.

Method 2:Via the TP-Link Kasa APP

1. Connect your TP-Link smart bulb to your home network via Kasa. On the Devices screen, tap the smart bulb that you want to check.

2. Tap to check its Device Settings.

3. Go to Advanced->Device info to check the MAC address of the smart bulb.

Method 3: Via your host router’s web-UI

Here we take the TP-Link router as a demonstration. If your host router isn’t from TP-Link, the following steps might be different.

1. Visit http://tplinkwifi.net, and log in with the password you set for your host router.

2. Go to Network Map -> Basic, you can find the MAC address of the device on the Host Clients list.
