TP-Link’s Connect & Care Program Partners with Habitat for Humanity to Support Underserved Families

IRVINE, CA – Feb. 10, 2025 – TP-Link Systems Inc., a global leader in networking and smart home solutions, today announced a new partnership between its Connect & Care community program and Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, marking the beginning of a long-term collaboration to strengthen local communities through technology and volunteerism.

The partnership kicked off with TP-Link employees, affectionately known as “Linkers,” building two playhouses for underserved children in Orange County. This initiative represents the first step in a broader commitment to support Habitat for Humanity’s mission of providing affordable homeownership solutions to families in need.

“At TP-Link, we believe in the power of connection—not just through our technology, but through genuine, hands-on community involvement,” said Jeff Barney, President of TP-Link Systems Inc. “The Connect & Care program allows us to live our values by supporting local organizations like Habitat for Humanity. It’s inspiring to see our team come together to empower the communities we serve and help make a difference in people’s lives. We’re excited for the future opportunities this partnership holds.”

The collaboration will expand beyond traditional home builds to include integrating TP-Link's smart home and networking solutions into new and existing Habitat homes, enhancing connectivity and security for Habitat OC families. TP-Link has already begun its commitment to this initiative by donating a suite of smart home products, including a Deco Wi-Fi 7 Mesh System, Tapo Smart Door Bell, Tapo RV30 Max Plus Robot Vacuum, and more, to Habitat families in Irvine, CA, not far from the company's global headquarters.

“This partnership with TP-Link represents a perfect alignment of values and vision,” said Michael Valentine, CEO of Habitat for Humanity of Orange County. “In today’s digital age, having reliable home connectivity isn’t just a convenience—it's essential for education, work, and family life. TP-Link’s commitment to not only help build homes but also provide them with technology will help ensure the long-term stability and security of our homeowners.”

Connect & Care, TP-Link’s community outreach initiative, focuses on leveraging the company’s technology expertise and human resources to address community needs and promote digital inclusion. The program reflects TP-Link’s commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen and creating lasting positive impact in the communities where its employees live and work.

The partnership with Habitat for Humanity represents a significant milestone in TP-Link’s ongoing efforts to strengthen community ties and showcase its commitment to social responsibility through meaningful action.
