    TP-Link Systems Supports Advancement of Bipartisan ROUTERS Act

    IRVINE, CA – April 28, 2025 – As part of broader efforts to further strengthen network security in the United States, TP-Link Systems, Inc. – a U.S.-headquartered company providing networking and smart home solutions – applauds today’s advancement of the bipartisan ROUTERS Act in the House of Representatives. 

    In a significant sign of the company’s commitment to network security, TP-Link Systems recently was granted official authorization by the Common Vulnerability and Exposures Program (CVE®) as a CVE Numbering Authority (CNA). This designation empowers TP-Link to assign CVE IDs to certain vulnerabilities potentially related to its products, furthering its commitment to proactive cybersecurity measures. 

    Further, the company signed the “Secure by Design” pledge on secure product development sponsored by the U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and is a participating member in CISA’s Secure by Design Technical Exchange Group. TP-Link Systems endorses the U.S. Cyber Trust Mark and supports the EU’s proposed Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).

    On the passage of the ROUTERS Act in the House of Representatives, TP-Link Systems Chief Information Security Officer Adam Robertson said:
