How to disable Wi-Fi function of TP-Link AC VDSL ADSL Wireless Modem Router

This article will guide how you can disable Wi-Fi functions of TP-Link AC VDSL/ADSL Wireless Modem Router.

Solution 1: via Wi-Fi button at the backset of TP-Link device itself. You can press the Wi-Fi button to disable Wi-Fi functions of TP-Link wireless modem router.

Note: If the Wi-Fi lights of TP-Link device are off, it means that you have disabled Wi-Fi function successfully.

Solution 2: via TP-Link web interface of TP-Link modem router.

Step 1:

Login the web Interface of TP-Link modem router via tplinkmodem.net. Please refer to How to log into the web-based interface of the AC VDSL/ADSL Modem Router?

Step 2:

Case 1: If your web interface looks like the picture below, please go to Basic->Wireless part to disable Wireless Network for 2.4G/5G.

Case 2: If your web interface looks like the picture below, please go to Wireless->Basic Settings to disable Wireless and SSID Broadcast.

Case 3: If your web interface looks like the picture below, please go to Wireless->Basic Settings to disable SSID Broadcast.

Case 4: If your web interface looks like the picture below, please go to Interface Setup->Wireless->Access Point Settings to disable access point and disable broadcast SSID in Multiple SSIDs Settings.
