How to Delete Kasa devices In the Kasa App

Note: Once the device has been removed from the app, the device will be reset to its factory default settings and unbound from your TP-Link account.
You will need to reconfigure the device if you wish to re-add it to the app.

For Android

Method 1

Step 1: On the Home screen, long press the device, then tap  on the device that you want to delete.

Step 2: Select “Yes”. And tap “Remove Device” at the confirmation prompt.

Method 2

Step 1: Tap the device you want to delete on the Home screen.

Step 2: Tap  to go to its Device Settings.

Step 3: Tap “Remove Device” on Device Settings.

Step 4: Tap “Remove Device” at the confirmation prompt.

For iOS

Method 1

Step 1: On the Home page, long press the device, then click  of the device that you want to delete.

Step 2: Tap “Remove Device” on the confirmation page.

Method 2

Step 1: Tap the device you want to delete on the Home page.

Step 2: Tap  to go to its Device Settings.

Step 3: Tap “Remove Device” in Device Settings.

Step 4: Tap “Remove Device” at the confirmation prompt.
