How to Collect the System Log in the Tether App

The System Log is critical for in-depth analysis when diagnosing and troubleshooting. This article outlines the steps required to collect the system log of the Tether App. If necessary, please follow these steps to send the log to TP-Link technical support:

Note: If you are unable to collect the system as shown below, please check the app version in your Tether App Settings. This feature has been added to the Tether app since Version 4.4.15 on Android and Version 4.4.25 on iOS.


1. Launch the Tether App and log in. Please click on the three lines icon in the top left corner of the Tether App, and then select Support Center.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Choose the related FAQs, scroll down the page, and tap “No, I need more help”.

 

3. Tap “Email Us”, choose Suggestions within the ‘what can we help you with’ option, and provide relevant details to your case. Then check "Add System Logs" and tap Send.


Note: If you have already contacted TP-Link technical support, please attach your support ticket reference number such as, “TKIDXXX” in the Opinions and Questions column.
