How to Install and Activate Avira Prime Subscription to HomeShield Total Security Package

This Article Applies to: 

Step 1:

After subscribing to the HomeShield Total security package, you will receive an Avira activation attachment in your email inbox, as seen below:

To access the Avira interface, open the attached file. Then, proceed to the next step by clicking the Install button.

Step 2:

After clicking the Install button, the page will jump to the following Register interface. Please register the account with the email address in the Avira email; only this email account can activate Avira Prime.

Note: The password must meet the criteria cited in the gray indication dialog box to click the Next button successfully. If the requirements are not met, you may not be able to proceed to the next step.

 

The prompt below will appear if your entered password does not meet the criteria. Please refer to the contents of the prompt for more helpful tips on how to meet the password requirements. 

Step 3:

Please enter your personal information (it can also be the account name you want to create) and choose your country.

After confirming the information, click the Register button:

You will receive a successful activation email from Avira account <no-reply@avira.com> within one minute; please click the Verify account button.

Otherwise, please return to the registration interface and click the Resend Email button:

Step 4:

After clicking Verify account in the email, it will automatically navigate to the Avira official website with your registered account:

Step 5:

Click the Devices option on the left side of the page to follow the instructions to download the software after selecting the device OS type.

Step 6

After downloading the software, launch it and follow the installation instructions. A Windows PC is used in the example below.
