How to set up PPTP VPN Client on Android
PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol) is a reliable VPN protocol utilized for establishing secure point-to-point connections over public networks, enabling seamless remote access and data transmission.
Note: starting from Android 13 and iOS 10, support for PPTP (Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol) has been removed on mobile devices. Therefore, if you need to use VPN functionality, consider using other protocols such as WireGuard, OpenVPN, etc., to ensure successful configuration and connection to VPN servers.
Please follow the steps below to set up the PPTP VPN connection.
1. Open your phone settings and go to More connections > VPN > Add network.
Enter Type, and select PPTP.
2. Enter the server’s IP, then tap Save.
3. Select the VPN profile, then input the account name and password, and tap Save
4. If the PPTP VPN connection has been established successfully, it will show Connected.
