How to Export History Data from a Tapo Temperature & Humidity Sensor

This Article Applies to: 

Tapo temperature and humidity sensors provide visual data records within the Tapo App and support historical data export functionality, allowing users to analyze data further or store it locally.

The following steps will guide you in exporting the sensor's historical data.

Unable to receive the exported data via email? Click here.

  1. Open the Tapo App and go to the Tapo temperature & humidity sensor device page.
  2. On the History section, click “View All” -> click the download button in the upper right corner.
  3. Enter the email address where you want to receive the data.
  4. Select the time interval and range.
  5. Click Export.

Note:

  1. The data is stored for up to 2 calendar years.
  2. Export interval:
    • In minutes: 1, 15, 30 minutes
    • In hours: 1, 6, 12 hours
    • In days: 1 day

Unable to receive the exported data email?

  1. Double-check the email address to ensure it is correct.
  2. Check the Spam folder to see if it was sorted there.
  3. Check the network quality of your device (for receiving emails). If need be, try switching networks and reloading the inbox.
