What is the Pano Feature?

Certain Tapo Pan & Tilt camera models come with a panoramic feature that automatically stitches together a wide-angle image by rotating the camera lens. This enables you to effortlessly select any point within the panoramic view, and the camera will quickly adjust its orientation to that specific angle, offering a seamless and convenient viewing experience.

How to use the Pano Feature

The Tapo C225 is used as an example in this case.

Step 1. Open the Tapo app and go to Tapo C225's Live View > Pan & Tilt page.

Click on Pano, choose an angle, and select "Create Panoramic Path" to create a panoramic path. This will help you effortlessly control your camera's horizontal movement.

Step 2. The camera automatically calibrates to find the center position and create a panoramic path.

On the panoramic path, you can tap or swipe the rectangle to control your camera's movement horizontally.

Note: If prompted with "Panoramic path created. Do you want to save this Pano to the Camera Memory?", choose Yes or No as desired.

You can tap the Camera icon on the Pano page to generate a panorama without updating the panoramic path.

To create a new panoramic path, tap the Refresh icon on the Pano page.

Note: The Pano feature is currently in beta testing. While we’ve done our best to ensure a seamless experience, there may be some bugs or unexpected behavior.

While using this feature, please keep in mind that:

  • The feature could change or be removed in future updates.
  • We appreciate your feedback. It helps us improve this feature for a future full release.
