How to install TD-W8950N(D) , TD-W8960N(D/B), TD-8810/8840, TD-W8910G/8920G, TD-W8968 V3 V4 to work with IPoE or Dynamic IP

Note: For the configuration, you should know theconnection type and VPI/VCI number. If you are not sure about the information, contact your ISP to double check it first.

Step 1
Open the web browser and type the IP address of the device in the address bar (default is 192.168.1.1, you can check it on the bottom label of the device). Then pressEnter.
Step 2
Input username and password in the login page, the default username and passwordare both admin, click OK to login the web page.
Step 3
Click on Quick Setup on the left.
Step 4
Input the correct VPI and VCI value (provided by your ISP). Click Next.
Step 5
Select Dynamic/static IP (1483 Bridge), click on Next.
Step 6
In this section, if you get static IP Address, Subnet Mask, Gateway and DNS server from your ISP, please type in them manually. All the information in this page is very important and can´t be incorrect. If you are not sure, please call your ISP to have a check.
If you do not get the information and your ISP provides DHCP connection, please leave them as default settings and go to Next.
Step 7
Click Next.
Step 8
If your ADSL2+ modem router does not support wireless function, you can skip this step.
If you want to connect to it via wireless,select Enable Wireless and set up your wireless network:
SSID: Create your wireless network name.
Wireless Security: Choose Disable Security to leave it unsecured or WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK to secure your wireless network and create your password in the Network Key box.
Step 9
Click Save/Reboot to save the settings and restart the router.
